Knowledge is a trust, and adab is its door. Every student of Baitul Hikmah is expected to:
- Respect the asatiza, stand when a teacher enters and speak with gentleness.
- Treat books and kitabs with care — never place them on the floor.
- Keep the tongue free from lying, backbiting and bad words.
- Help younger students and look after the sick in the boarding.
- Dress modestly and keep the tupi and clothes clean.
- Leave the madrasa only with permission.
When things go wrong
The ustaz first advises the student privately. Repeated or serious misconduct is referred to the Naib-e-Muhtamim and the guardian is informed. Our aim is always islah (reform), never humiliation.
